What we collect
Account data, billing data, and request metadata (model, route, usage, charge, timings, error class). Request and response content is not stored, with two exceptions: files you upload to the Files and Batches API and the results written for them are stored encrypted until you delete them (batch result files expire after 30 days); and when a provider's error message quotes part of a request, that message is kept with the request record, readable by platform staff only.
What we never do
We do not train models on your traffic and do not sell data. Providers receive only what is needed to serve the request, under the data policy you set.
Where data is processed
In the regions your policy allows. Org-level residency settings are inherited by every project and cannot be loosened downstream.
Your rights
Signed in, you can download your personal data as JSON and request deletion of your account on this page (the same requests are GET /api/v1/auth/me/export and DELETE /api/v1/auth/me). A deletion request is processed by staff and completed within 30 days; it is refused while you are the only owner of an organization that still holds a balance, until another owner is added or the balance is settled. Ledger postings, invoices and audit metadata are kept where the law requires it, and data that belongs to your organization is exported by the organization.
